AFC Bournemouth have bolstered their academy with the signing of 16-year-old left-footed winger Denzil Decardi Nelson from Levels FC after a successful trial and scholarship offer.
The English-born Ghanaian prospect will continue his development within Bournemouth’s academy system, where he will receive structured coaching and resources to refine his abilities at an important stage of his career.
Known for his pace, dribbling, and creativity on the left flank, Decardi Nelson is seen as an exciting addition to the youth setup.
Phil Antwi, Bournemouth’s Head of Emerging Talent and First Team Recruitment, played a significant role in completing the move, underlining the club’s commitment to identifying and nurturing young prospects, including players of Ghanaian heritage.
“This is a huge step for Denzil, and we are confident he will thrive in our environment,” Antwi said. “Our academy focuses on developing technically gifted players, and Denzil has the potential to make a real impact in the future.”
Decardi Nelson’s transfer reflects Bournemouth’s approach of combining internal development with scouting for emerging talent, as he joins a growing group of youngsters within the Premier League side’s pathway aiming to progress into the professional ranks.
