Bryan Acheampong won’t ditch NPP – Adomako Kissi reveals

Dr Dickson Adomako Kissi, a member of Dr Bryan Acheampong’s campaign team and former MP for Anyaa Sowutuom, has assured the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that Acheampong remains committed to the party despite his loss in the presidential primaries.

“Based on his manifesto, I know that he will push us as a party to return to the true culture of patriotism, selflessness, and the things that made NPP NPP,” Kissi told JoyNews’ AM Show.

He added, “He wanted the party to go back to basics and return to the strategies that made our party win and made it likeable to all of Ghana. He cannot depart from that.”

Kissi emphasized that Acheampong’s focus has always been about unity and growth. “His focus has always been about strengthening the NPP and making it attractive to Ghanaians again,” he said.

The comments come after Dr Bawumia secured the NPP flagbearer position with a decisive win, defeating stiff competition including Dr Acheampong and Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.
