Education Minister reminded to sack SHS staff supporting exam malpractice

Executive Director for the Africa Education Watch, Kofi Asare, has reminded the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, of his promise to sack staff who oversee malpractice in various senior high schools in the country.

According to him, this is the time the minister must act, as there is evidence of malpractice in various senior high schools that participated in the WASSCE.

He believes that an action from the minister will deter other staff of the various senior high schools from providing any form of support for malpractice.

In a post shared via social media, he said, “Before the 2025 WASSCE, the Minister promised to fire staff who supervise cheating.

Today, 40 SHS recorded 100% malpractice. Minister must walk his talk;🔥 the Heads. Warnings without punishment is invitation to repeat crime”.
