The Ghana Police Service has commenced a manhunt for a man captured in a viral video assaulting a suspect.
In a viral video on social media, a man is seen dishing out a slap to a Pastor who is said to have condemned the Islamic Religion.
The slap landed on the cheeks of the Pastor, who was handcuffed after he was arrested for making some inciteful comments via social media.
The police, in a statement issued on Thursday, August 13, said it condemns the incident and has intensified efforts to arrest the suspect and put him before the court.
The circumstances surrounding the incident is also being investigated and all persons found culpable will be taken through the due process of the law.
