Chief Executive Officer for Ghana GoldBod, Sammy Gyamfi, has described the minority leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, as a joke.
According to him, claims that GoldBod has recorded losses are a figment of his hallucinatory imagination.
In a social media post, Sammy Gyamfi disclosed that audited Annual Report and Financial Statements of the Ghana Gold Board – GoldBod for the year ended 31st December, 2025, disclosing an operational surplus/profit of GHS907 million and overall surplus/profit of GHS5.4 billion.
Therefore, it comes as a shock to him that the Minority Leader keeps peddling falsehoods about loses made by the entity he heads.
His post read “The blatant lie being persistently peddled by Afenyo Markin that the GoldBod has made losses, is only a figment of his hallucinatory imagination. What a joke of a Minority Leader he is.
