The Catholic Diocese of Konongo-Mampong has suspended Reverend Father Samuel Apore over his decision to take leave of absence from the diocese and abandon his pastoral ministry at the St. Anthony of Padua Rectorate, Nkwantakes.
A letter announcing his suspension said the Reverend left with all his personal effects from the mission house.
What’s worrying, according to the letter, is that as of now, he has blocked all access to him and his immediate family members have maintained that none of them know his whereabouts.
