Former Ghana international Prince Tagoe says he does not agree with the decision to keep Carlos Queiroz as head coach of the Black Stars.
Speaking during a visit to the Ho Sports Stadium, President Mahama praised the Black Stars’ World Cup performance. He said the team did better than many people expected and believes keeping the same coach could help Ghana in the future.
Tagoe, however, disagrees with that view. He believes Queiroz’s style of play does not suit Ghana.
“Keeping coach Carlos Queiroz is a waste of time. I am not okay with his tactics. Ghana football is not about defending,” Tagoe told Adom TV.
“I don’t think he will take us far,” the former Hearts of Oak striker added.
