I entrusted my journey to God – Akosua Serwaa shares

Widow of the late Daddy Lumba, Mrs. Akosua Serwaa Fosuh is happy she arrived in Ghana safely from Germany, while also thanking his numerous supporters in press statement issued today, January 10, 2025.

“I committed the journey into the hands of the Almighty God, praying earnestly for a safe flight,” she said, highlighting the anxiety caused by heavy snowfall and multiple flight cancellations across Europe.

Mrs. Fosuh recounted the unexpected and moving reception at Kotoka International Airport. “As I walked through the terminal and noticed a large crowd gathered ahead, I quietly wondered whether a national leader had arrived. But it was for me, their sister, mother, and daughter,” she said.

She expressed profound gratitude toward Team Legal Wives and her late husband’s family. “Your solidarity, prayers, advocacy, and love have strengthened me in ways words cannot fully capture,” she stated.

The widow also acknowledged the efforts of airport authorities, the Ghana Police Service, and supporters who traveled from across the nation to welcome her. “Your kindness, courage, and love have uplifted me beyond measure,” she said.
