I questioned religion from kindergarten – Panji Anoff explains

Panji Anoff has revealed that his doubts about organised religion started when he was a child, explaining that he began questioning religious teachings as early as kindergarten.

The Ghanaian creative made the revelation during an interview with Richie Mensah, where he discussed his personal beliefs and views on faith.

“I questioned religion very early,” Anoff said.

When asked how young he was when he started questioning religion, he responded:

“Kindergarten. I knew goats were smarter than sheep. Why do I want to be a sheep?”

Anoff explained that he does not identify as religious because he believes individuals should develop their own understanding of faith and purpose.

“I believe heaven is in my mind. I am not religious. So I have to generate my own faith,” he said.

During the conversation, Richie Mensah asked him why he chose not to follow religion, leading Anoff to explain that his perspective came from questioning fundamental ideas about life and existence.

He said many people turn to religion because of questions about death and what happens after life, but he prefers to approach those questions through personal reflection.
