Evangelist Nana Agradaa has recounted her experience with prison procedures, including what she described as strict bathroom rules and inspections for inmates.
According to her, one of the difficult aspects of prison life was the lack of privacy, particularly during bathroom routines.
She said she was reported by an officer over wearing underwear to the washroom, explaining that inmates were expected to follow specific instructions during inspections.
“An officer reported me because I wore underwear to the washroom. We were expected to go inside naked and they do inspections.
“Imagine an older woman like me being asked to expose myself for them to inspect my armpit hair and pubic hair,” she said in a live TikTok video.
Nana Agradaa also spoke about challenges women face during their menstrual periods while in prison, noting that sharing bathroom facilities with other inmates can be uncomfortable.
“To the women, when you’re alone at home and you’re menstruating, you know how it feels.
“Now imagine having to share one bathroom with other women who are also menstruating. It’s very sad and disgusting,” she said.
