Former President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has hinted to Ghanaians at the messaging for the New Patriotic Party’s 2028 campaign.
According to him, the people of Ghana need to know that the recovery of the economy, which started under his administration, is seeing some great improvements because of the policies the NPP government introduced.
The former President was speaking at the final declaration of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the flagbearer of the NPP.
“Recovery of the economy that was charted before we left office is becoming visible and felt. Those necessary policies to stabilize and reposition our economy are bearing fruit. That is our message, rooted in achievement guided by responsibility, articulated by party united with one voice and animated by a bold vision for the future,” he said.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo expressed his belief in Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to present a clear plan to develop Ghana’s economy further, create jobs and protect the vulnerable.
