Spokesperson for Kennedy Agyapong, Kwasi Kwarteng, has denounced reports suggesting that Kennedy Agyapong has left the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to him, Kennedy Agyapong remains a member of the NPP and will not leave the political party just because the delegates failed to elect him as flagbearer.
He, according to Kwasi Kwarteng, will support Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the party to wrestle power in 2028.
Kwasi Kwarteng, who made this known in a post shared via social media, said “Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong has not and will not break away from the New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom)“.
His comment come on the back of reports suggesting that Kennedy Agyapong has left the party after failing to get the flagbearership nod.
The reports indicated that Kennedy Agyapong had formed a movement which will transition into a political party that will contest the 2028 election.
