NPP Communications Team member Fiifi Boafo has praised newly elected First Vice Chairman Kojo Bamba, arguing that the party activist is more intelligent and capable than people who see him only as someone who protects others.
“People who do not know Kojo Bamba just consider him somebody who is only useful for protecting people. No, he is smarter than that,” Boafo said on TV3’s The Key Points on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
Kojo Bamba, whose real name is Kwadwo Fosu Boadu, won the First Vice Chairman position at the NPP’s National Delegates Conference in Kumasi on October 3, securing 3,116 votes in a contest involving 13 candidates.
He finished ahead of Henry Nana Boakye, who polled 3,061 votes, and Nana Akomea, who received 2,987 votes to become Second and Third Vice Chairmen respectively. <
Bamba’s election followed a campaign in which he presented himself as a grassroots figure who could help protect party members and their ballots during elections.
His victory placed him among the NPP’s top national executives as the party prepares for the 2028 general election.
