Ghanaian on-air personality MzGee has appealed to women working in the media in Kumasi and across the Ashanti Region to support television personality Ama Parone after a private video involving her and DJ KA circulated on social media.
MzGee urged colleagues to show compassion rather than isolate the broadcaster following the incident.
“Ladies/Women in the Media in Kumasi, Ashanti Region in general, please let’s reach out to the young lady journalist in the leaked sex tape. She needs help, solace and support,” she wrote on Facebook.
“The harm has been done, I am sure she’s regretted this, let’s not throw her away. Let’s show her some compassion. DM her number if you have it.”
MzGee’s comments came after a private video involving Ama Parone and DJ KA was leaked and widely shared across social media platforms in Ghana.
