Let’s Unite and Take Back Power in 2028 – Samba Urges

The incumbent Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mohammed Baantima Adam Samba, has urged the party in the Northern Region to unite ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Speaking to journalists after he was declared the winner and elected Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP, he indicated that only unity can ensure that the party wins back power from the NDC come the 2028 elections.

“Unity is important, and so today nobody is a winner, and nobody is a loser, but NPP is the winner,” he noted.

He tasked the newly elected executives to come together and reclaim all the seats the party lost come 2028.

“Our duty is to ensure that we take back all the seats we lost in the 2024 election,” he said.

He appealed to party supporters to forgive one another and work very hard to win back power.

Mohammed Baantima Adam polled 215 votes to beat his closest contender, Inusah Amadu, who obtained 122 votes, with Fuseini Musah securing 44 votes and Salifu Rahman Mumin polling 5 votes.
