President John Dramani Mahama has extended his heartfelt gratitude to Organised Labour for their cooperation and understanding in reaching an agreement on the national minimum wage and base pay.
In a statement issued on Thursday, February 20, 2025, President Mahama commended Organised Labour for their constructive engagement, which led to fruitful negotiations aimed at improving the welfare of Ghanaian workers.
He reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with Organised Labour to revive the economy and address workers’ concerns.
The President also emphasised his dedication to prudent management of public finances, calling for modesty and sacrifice from government officials as the nation focuses on economic recovery and easing the hardships faced by citizens.
