A Nigerian man has allegedly destroyed his younger brother’s building foundation after the younger sibling awarded a construction contract to another engineer despite paying his elder brother N3 million.
X user Glorious God, @GloriousGod01, shared the account, claiming the younger brother, who lives in the UK, had received a quotation of about N140 million, excluding workmanship, for his building project.
According to the post, the man contacted his elder brother, an engineer, for a second quotation. The elder brother reportedly quoted N150 million and said he normally made N10 million to N15 million in profit per project but would accept N3 million to N5 million because they were family.
The younger brother allegedly sent him N3 million before awarding the contract to the first engineer, explaining that he did not want to mix family with business.
Glorious God claimed the elder brother complained to their mother after learning that he had lost the contract. The situation allegedly escalated when the first engineer arrived at the site with his workers to begin construction.
“The elder brother showed up with thugs and destroyed the foundation,” the X user claimed.
