Ghanaian artiste Shatta Wale has revealed that many relationship problems begin because people are not honest about what they want from the very beginning.
The boss of the Shatta Movement army said he prefers openness instead of making promises he cannot keep.
“Most men lie to women. That’s why relationships don’t succeed,” he said on The Honest Bunch podcast.
Shatta Wale explained that he would rather tell a partner about his expectations at the start of a relationship than hide them for years.
“I don’t want any woman in my life to feel like I’m a liar,” he stated.
The musician also spoke about his current relationships, saying the women in his life are aware of one another because he chooses transparency over secrecy.
According to him, many relationship breakdowns happen because people discover important truths long after they have invested years into a relationship.
He maintained that honesty gives both people the opportunity to decide whether they are comfortable continuing the relationship instead of feeling deceived later.
