Former Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, Prof Frimpong Boateng, has stated that it will be imperative for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to do away with persons who cannot speak good English.
He believes that removing these people from leadership roles in the New Patriotic Party will help the party rebuild.
The professor was speaking on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM when he made this known.
“The party folks in this region who have gone to good schools but cannot speak English should all be taken from leadership roles in the party. You can’t go to a good school and not be able to speak English; that is unacceptable,” he said.
Prof. Frimpong Boateng holds the view that the NPP needs to work on ensuring that the party is rebuilt at its base.
