President of Policy Think Tank, IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe has explained that the previous government led the country into abject atrophy.
He says the previous government landed the country into junk-rated.
Franklin Cudjoe was reacting to comments made by the Finance Minister pointing to the fact that the country should not borrow just because financing is available.
Franklin Cudjoe admonished the current government to not repeat the poor economic thinking of the previous government.
“The first rule of prudent, matured and disciplined thinking. No need repeating the habits of poor economic thinking men, that led us into abject atrophy and eventually landed us into the cathedral fellowship of the Junk-rated,” he said.
