Legal practitioner and spokesperson to Kennedy Agyapong, Mr Kwasi Kwarteng has said the NPP should move on from the 2024 election debacle and position itself properly for future elections.
Speaking on The Verdict with Isaac Addae on Starr FM, Mr Kwarteng said the party is in the process of rebranding and re-strategizing.
“We must also accept the reality as a party. We are rebranding, re-strategizing and of course we are trying to fix the image of our party after the devastating loss we’ve had in the previous election,” he noted.
He emphasized that rebuilding is an ongoing process rather than a single event. “Rebuilding is not an event; it has always been a process,” Kwarteng said.
Looking ahead, he expressed confidence that the NPP would be in a stronger position for future elections.
“I’m sure we will be able to measure the performance of our party well probably in the coming years, 2027 and 2028.
“We should be able to put a very strong performance, especially in the 2028 election where I’m convinced we will win as a party,” he added.
