The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has postponed its Asikuma Odoben Brakwa Constituency Executive Elections scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026, following an injunction obtained by Eric Kwesi Taylor.
In a statement signed by Constituency Elections Committee Secretary Bismark Baisie Nkum, the party said the election has been put on hold “until further notice.”
“This follows an injunction obtained by Mr. Eric Kwesi Taylor, which has temporarily halted the conduct of the elections pending the determination of the matter,” the statement said.
The party advised candidates, delegates and stakeholders to await further communication on a new date for the elections.
