Former presidential staffer Samuel Bryan Buabeng has called on members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to prioritize unity and discipline as the party prepares for the 2028 elections.
According to him, confidence about the party’s electoral prospects should not lead to internal divisions.
“I am 100% certain that our victory in 2028 cannot be stopped by anyone. However, that should not be a licence to disrespect others,” he said.
Buabeng urged party members to remain focused on broader party objectives rather than engaging in attacks against individuals within the party.
“We must remain humble, disciplined, and focused on the task ahead, rather than wasting time sponsoring attacks on prominent party figures,” he stated.
He added that reducing internal disagreements would help create a more united front ahead of future elections.
“If we truly want to make Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s work easier, unity, discipline, and mutual respect must take precedence over personal grudges and factional infighting,” he said.
