Esther Smith’s management has issued a statement to dismiss reports suggesting that Pastor Elvis Agyemang of Alpha Hour demanded or received money in exchange for prayers.
In the statement dated January 15, 2026, the team described the claims circulating on social media as false and misleading. According to the release, their engagement with Pastor Elvis Agyemang and the Alpha Hour team was conducted with respect and professionalism.
“At no point was any amount requested, demanded, or charged for prayers,” the statement said. “On the contrary, we were treated with dignity and genuine pastoral care.”
The management further stated that Pastor Elvis Agyemang has shown consistency, accountability, and transparency, adding that narratives suggesting otherwise should be disregarded.
They also called on the public and media practitioners to avoid speculation and verify facts before publishing reports. “This statement is issued in the interest of truth, clarity, and peace,” the release concluded.
