Social media influencer and actress Akuapem Poloo has said people claiming Daddy Lumba’s body was not in the coffin either did not get the opportunity to view it or have eyesight problems.
Reacting to rumours circulating on social media about the late highlife musician’s funeral, the actress said she personally saw Daddy Lumba’s body and had no doubt it was him.
“People who claim Daddy Lumba wasn’t in the coffin didn’t get the chance to see the body. Or they didn’t see the body properly. Or they have eyesight issues,” she told Fiifi Pratt on Aluta FM.
Akuapem Poloo explained that she was present at the funeral and viewed the body herself.
“When I went, everything was fine. I saw the comments on social media. Maybe because they didn’t see the body. I saw Daddy Lumba’s body in the coffin when I went to his funeral. I saw that it was my Daddy,” she stated.
She added that she had known Daddy Lumba for years, having first met him while working as a video vixen.
“I first saw Lumba when I went to perform as a video vixen. So, when I went to the funeral, that was his body I saw,” she added.
