Police have arrested Dr. Clemence Gyato over the alleged unlawful demolition of buildings and structures belonging to the Accra Race Course at Borteyman in Accra.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested Dr. Gyato on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in connection with the demolition.
He is currently in police custody and is assisting with investigations as the CID works to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
