Pray for Black Stars – Kurt Okraku beg Ghanaians

Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has called on Ghanaians to support the Black Stars and remain patient with the team as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to Okraku, the technical team and players need the prayers and encouragement of the nation as they aim to achieve a better result than their recent performances.

Speaking with CitiSports he said: “The Black Stars technical team needs your prayers and support. Ghanaians have to be patient with the team.

In the last AFCON, we couldn’t qualify from the group stage. We need to qualify from the group stage at the World Cup,” Okraku said.

The Black Stars will compete in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama, with the team’s immediate target being progression to the knockout stage of the tournament.
