Real Madrid is close to completing another major signing. According to well-known transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Spanish club have reached a verbal agreement to sign Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella.
Romano reported that all parties involved, including the player, have agreed to the deal. The expectation is that the Spanish defender will join Real Madrid after the World Cup ends.
The financial details of the transfer have not been revealed. However, Romano has already given his famous “Here We Go,” which usually means the deal is almost complete.
The 27-year-old has played for Chelsea since joining the club from Brighton in the summer of 2022. Since then, he has made more than 100 appearances for the London side and has become an important player for the Spanish national team.
