The management of Greater Accra Regional Hospital says a viral social media post alleging negligence over a patient’s death relates to a case that occurred six years ago and was fully investigated.
The hospital said in a statement thus, “The circulating allegations regarding the said patient’s death were thoroughly investigated and managed in collaboration with relevant state authorities six (6) years ago.”
It added, “The investigation confirmed that no wrong or inappropriate medication was administered to the patient. The nurses’ laughter was completely unrelated to this index case.”
