Solomon Owusu criticises AG, calls for review of Sedina Tamakloe ruling

United Party communicator Solomon Owusu has called for a review of the judgment in the Sedina Tamakloe case, saying he disagrees with the conclusions reached by the court.

Speaking on Joy Prime, Owusu criticised both the prosecution and the handling of the case, describing it as “a total waste of our time.”

“The judiciary must take a second look at it,” he said.

Owusu argued that the Attorney General’s handling of the matter was ineffective, claiming the prosecution lacked substance and clarity.

“What the judges have said in this judgment is to the effect that we had a very ineffective, inefficient, incompetent Attorney General,” he said.

He maintained that the issues raised by the judgment warrant further examination, adding that the way the case was handled should be reviewed to strengthen the administration of justice in future cases.
