Hearts of Oak Managing Director Julius Ben Emunah has revealed his ambitious vision of making the club’s academy the foundation of the Black Stars within the next five years.
Speaking to Original TV/FM, Emunah said he wants a significant number of Ghana’s senior national team players to emerge from the Hearts of Oak academy as part of the club’s long-term development strategy.
“In the next five years, the core of the Black Stars squad should come from the Hearts of Oak academy,” he said.
Hearts of Oak believes continued investment in the Hearts Africa Football Academy and its sports complex will help develop homegrown talent for both the Black Stars and the international market.
