Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah has urged graduates to move beyond acquiring knowledge and use their skills to solve real problems in Ghana.
Speaking at the Valley View University PhD and Graduate Students’ Graduation Banquet in Accra on Saturday, August 29, 2026, the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations said knowledge should lead to practical solutions.
“The world does not reward information. It rewards solutions,” he stressed.
He also challenged the graduates to make better use of Artificial Intelligence and social media instead of simply consuming content.
“Do not simply consume Artificial Intelligence. Build with it. Do not merely scroll through social media. Solve problems through innovation,” he said.
He said the combination of knowledge and practical action would allow the graduates to use their expertise to address some of Ghana’s pressing challenges.
