Founder and senior pastor of Jesus House Baltimore, Pastor Tola Odutola, has shared his shock after discovering that some married men openly keep side chicks.
Odutola said the revelation came during a husband-and-wife dinner where he assumed the men would attend with their wives.
“I was shocked, so I asked a question. I said, ‘So who would you bring to a husband-and-wife dinner if not your wife?’” he recalled in a video shared on X.
According to the pastor, one of the men told him that almost everyone at the gathering had a side chick.
“Somebody must have looked at me and had pity on me and said, ‘Poor pastor.’ And the boy said, ‘I’m telling you here, there’s nobody here that does not have a side chick,’” he said.
Odutola said he immediately told them that he did not have another woman.
“I said, ‘I don’t.’ And everybody looked at me,” he recalled.
The pastor said he has been married for 36 years and has remained faithful to his wife throughout their marriage.
“I think God has shielded me for too many years from this kind of foolishness. I’ve been married for 36 years; I’ve never done another woman,” he said.
He added that he has known his wife for 39 years and has never been involved with another woman.
“Even in the 39 years I’ve known my wife, I’ve never known any other woman. I said, ‘What’s wrong with you guys?’” he added.
