TV100 commentator and Turkish journalist Haluk Yürekli has said that Victor Osimhen might play with an injection when Galatasaray faces Juventus in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg on Wednesday.
Osimhen did not travel for Galatasaray’s 2-0 loss to Konyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig because he was injured.
The Nigerian star played in the first leg against Juventus last week. Galatasaray won 5-2.
“Osimhen didn’t go to Konya because of a meniscus problem, but because of knee pain,” Yürekli said as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.
“He was rested because there is a possibility he might play in the Juventus match. Most likely, he will be in the starting eleven for the Juventus match.
“There is also a possibility he might play with an injection there,” he said.
