Update on Barcelona transfer deal with Ghanaian youngster Aziz Issah

FC Barcelona are on the verge of completing the permanent signing of Ghanaian winger Abdul Aziz Issah after the youngster spent the last two seasons on loan at the club from Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC.

The Catalan giants are preparing to finalise an agreement that will see the 20-year-old become a full-time Barcelona player, rewarding his steady development and growing influence within the club.

Issah arrived in Spain as one of Ghana’s brightest young prospects following his impressive performances for Dreams FC, particularly during the club’s memorable CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

While his first season at Barcelona was largely a period of adaptation, the winger made significant strides during his second campaign and gradually established himself as an important member of the squad.

His breakthrough came towards the end of last season under coach Juliano Belletti. With injuries limiting Barcelona’s options in the wide attacking positions, Issah seized his opportunity with a series of impressive displays.

Speaking to a Ghanaian Barcelona supporter in the United States, Laporta disclosed that the former Dreams FC winger would become part of the senior team’s environment, underlining the club’s long-term plans for the talented attacker.
