Minister of State responsible for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has outlined plans for the government to engage civil society organizations (CSOs) following consultations with Organised Labour.
Speaking to Umaru Sanda Amadu on Channel One TV’s Face to Face, Kwakye Ofosu explained that once discussions with labour groups are concluded, the government will turn its attention to CSOs.
“Once he’s done with organised labour, he will turn his attention to CSOs.
He will engage CSOs so that they will also bring their perspective to bear on governance, and through that we can get the best ideas for policy fine-tuning and better implementation,” he said.
The minister emphasized that the inclusion of multiple stakeholders in governance discussions aims to improve the quality of policies and their implementation.
