The chief executive officer for the Youth Employment Authority (YEA), Malik Basintale, says the National Democratic Congress government has fulfilled all its promises to the Ghanaian youth.
Speaking at the NDC’s Western Regional Youth Conference, he stated that the president has plans to put together a second manifesto for the youth and implement it before he leaves office.
“We know what we were about. We were firm, and we had an aim, and I can tell you today that the NDC is virtually the first political party to have fulfilled our entire youth manifesto in one year,” he said.
He continued, “I bring you good news from President Mahama. He says we are going to go back to the drawing board and for the first time we will put together a second manifesto and we shall implement it before the end of his tenure”.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) launched its official Youth Manifesto on August 12, 2024, in Accra. Headed by flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, the policy document outlines specific commitments aimed at job creation, digital training, entrepreneurship, and educational reform to address youth unemployment in Ghana.
