Ghana forward André Ayew has shared his joy after NAC Breda won two straight games in the Eredivisie.
The former Black Stars captain played the full match as NAC Breda beat FC Volendam in Week 24 at the Rat Verlegh Stadion on Saturday.
NAC Breda are fighting to avoid relegation. They have now won two matches in a row, with Ayew playing every minute in both games. His presence has helped the team’s recent good form.
Before Ayew joined, the club last recorded two straight league wins in December 2024.
The former Olympique de Marseille, West Ham United FC and Swansea City AFC player posted on Instagram after the win.
“Back-to-back wins. Stadium on fire. One team, one family. Focused on Friday” he wrote.
NAC Breda are now one place above the relegation zone with 22 points after 24 matches.
