A Kenyan woman Juliet Amina Juma has returned home after spending about eight years working in Saudi Arabia.
She is said to have travelled in 2019 in search of employment to support her family, with expectations of stable income from overseas work.
Relatives say communication with her stopped shortly after she left, leaving the family without regular updates for several years.
Reports indicate that during her time abroad, she was paid for only a short initial period, though details of her employment situation remain unclear.
Juliet returned home on May 28, 2026, bringing an end to years of absence.
Her return has been received by family members after a long period of uncertainty, with discussions also emerging around conditions faced by some migrant workers abroad.
