Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has expressed confidence in Ghana’s chances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, saying the Black Stars are united and fully prepared as they enter the final phase of training in Providence, Rhode Island.
The team arrived from Virginia on Thursday evening and will continue preparations under head coach Carlos Queiroz ahead of their Group L opener against Panama in Toronto.
Ghana are in a challenging group that also includes England and Croatia, but Issahaku believes the intensity of training has improved team chemistry and readiness.
“With the look of the team, I have confidence in our team and the guys. Everyone in the team is ready, and the training we are doing is helping. I think it’s going to make us improve more and help the team move forward.”
