Women’s Premier League leaders Army Ladies will look to strengthen their dominance when they host bottom-placed FC Samartex at Teshie Mats Park this weekend in the Southern Zone.
Army Ladies have set the pace in the competition, amassing 23 points from 11 matches through disciplined defending and effective attacking transitions.
Their consistency has positioned them as early title contenders, and another win would further tighten their grip on the top spot.
Samartex, however, arrive in search of crucial survival points after recording only 10 points from the same number of matches.
The visitors are likely to adopt a cautious and compact strategy, depending on quick counterattacks and defensive discipline to unsettle their in form hosts.
