The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Director of Communications, Dennis Miracles Aboagye has warned that aspirants who disregard party directives risk disqualification from the party’s parliamentary primaries.
Speaking on Accra-based Channel One TV, Mr Aboagye said party members seeking leadership positions must demonstrate their willingness to comply with the party’s rules.
“If you yourself begin to disregard party directives, then, you know, you’re not fit to lead a party at any level,” he said.
He further cautioned that failure to comply with the directive could have consequences, including disqualification from the parliamentary primaries.
“There are consequences to not comply with this directive, chief of which is the likelihood of disqualification just because you refuse to comply with the party’s directive,” he added.
