Veteran singer Akosua Agyapong has said it was possible to build a music career while raising six children.
Speaking on Joy Prime, she said she always made time for her family despite spending days away for performances.
“I would travel for a week or two to perform, but when I returned home, we sat down and talked,” she said.
The veteran musician revealed that one of her daughters recently thanked her for the upbringing she gave her children.
“My daughter called me and said, ‘Mommy, thank you for raising us the way you did.’ She told me none of my children drinks or smokes, and I thank God for that,” she said.
Akosua Agyapong said hearing those words from her daughter was rewarding and encouraged her to continue sharing her experiences with younger parents.
