Atopa videos: View Once and Snapchat are not enough to protect your privacy – Counselor Adofoli

Counselor Edem Adofoli has revealed that features such as Snapchat messages and WhatsApp’s “View Once” option should not give people a false sense of security when sharing intimate content (atopa videos).

During his appearance on JoyPrime’s Changes, he said technology cannot completely eliminate the risk of private content being copied or exposed.

According to him, phones can be stolen, sent for repairs, hacked or compromised through cloud storage, giving other people access to personal files.

When the discussion turned to disappearing messages and temporary media, Adofoli pointed out that someone can still use another device to record what appears on the screen.

“If I have two phones right now and you send me a View Once, I can record it with the other phone,” he noted during the discussion.

He therefore maintained that the safest option remains avoiding intimate recordings altogether.

“I don’t think it’s necessary,” he said, adding that people should always ask themselves how secure both the relationship and the device truly are before sharing such content.
