Lawyers for Ken Ofori-Atta have announced that the Red Notice issued against him has been permanently deleted from INTERPOL’s system.
In a statement dated February 13, 2026, Minkah-Premo, Osei-Bonsu, Bruce-Cathline and Partners said the Commission for the Control of INTERPOL’s Files ruled during its 135th Session that the notice “appears of a predominantly political character” and does not comply with INTERPOL’s rules.
The commission added that the data submitted by the INTERPOL National Central Bureau of Ghana were not compliant and “should be deleted from the INTERPOL information system.”
The statement was signed by Justice Kusi-Minkah Premo, counsel for Mr Ofori-Atta.
