Build businesses, learn skills and network instead of complaining – McDan

McDan has advised young people to focus on personal growth, discipline and preparation, saying success requires deliberate effort.

The businessman said people should develop habits that improve their chances of progressing in life.

“Learn a skill when others are sleeping. Build a business while others are arguing online. Save money when everyone is chasing appearances. Read when others are scrolling. Network when others are complaining. Take risks while you still have the strength to recover,” he wrote.

McDan said some of the biggest obstacles people face come from within.

“Your enemies are not always people. Sometimes they’re procrastination, comfort, excuses, and the belief that tomorrow will somehow be easier,” he stated.

He added that people must work towards becoming valuable rather than waiting for success to come automatically.

“Nobody is owed success here. You either become too valuable to ignore or too comfortable to escape your circumstances,” McDan said.

He concluded by reminding people that time and responsibilities do not wait.

“Fight for your life because the bills will never pity you, hunger will never respect your dreams, shame won’t skip you and time has never waited for anyone.”
