Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has outlined a structured approach to developing school and grassroots sports in Ghana.
Adams said the system spans from primary schools through universities and private institutions in an interview on Channel One TV monitored by MyNewsGh.
Adams emphasized that the system ensures all stakeholders are coordinated, creating a framework that nurtures talent from the earliest stages.
“Right from the primary level, we now have an organized system where school sports are supported, structured, and monitored,” he said, noting that the initiative complements the government’s broader efforts to provide consistent funding through the newly established sports fund.
