COCOBOD debate: Miracles Aboagye stands by 2017 memorandum

NPP member Dennis Miracles Aboagye has defended the materials he and his team have cited in the ongoing debate over COCOBOD’s financial position.

He said his arguments are supported by official records, while challenging critics to produce counter documents.

“We produced an official Ghana Cocoa Board memorandum,” he stated, referring to a document dated 20 December 2017.

According to him, the memorandum detailed inherited debt obligations and financial challenges at the time.

“That document has been there from the start of this discussion. No one has disproved it,” he said.

Aboagye also questioned the reliability of some materials being circulated in the debate, describing them as unverified.

“You cannot build a full argument on claims without documents,” he wrote.
