Gyankroma Akufo-Addo denies $25 million interchange painting claim, threatens legal action

The daughter of former President Nana Akufo-Addo, Gyankroma Akufo-Addo has firmly denied claims circulating on social media that she received $25 million to paint interchanges in Accra, describing the allegation as false.

In a statement, she said, “This claim is completely false.

“No such contract has ever existed, been offered, or been awarded.”

She challenged anyone with proof to make it public, adding, “If any individual or platform is in possession of such a contract, I challenge them to produce it. They will not because it does not exist.”

She explained that the Art for All projects were privately initiated and carried out through the Creative Arts Agency, funded by private sector support and personal contributions.

According to her, these details have already been made public.

“I will not allow deliberate misinformation to go unchallenged,” she stated.
