I Lost Everything  — Paul Yandoh Falls to Ground Zero After Election Defeat

Former Ashanti Regional Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Yandoh, says he is yet to recover from his defeat in the party’s election, revealing that he invested all his finances into the contest and has been left financially devastated.

Speaking on Asempa FM, Kumasi, Yandoh said the election has had a significant personal and financial impact on him.

“I still have not recovered from the election loss because I used all my finances to contest the election. I have lost everything and am down to ground zero,” he stated.

He described the situation as difficult but expressed gratitude to members of the party who supported him during the process.

“It is not easy for me. I invested my all but I thank all the Council of Elders, party executives, and others. God bless them,” he said.

Yandoh said he deliberately adopted a jovial approach during his campaign to make his message easier for delegates to understand while avoiding unnecessary hostility.

“I chose the jovial strategy so the people will comprehend my message and also not infuriate my enemies,” he explained.

He further said the absence of Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, also affected his campaign because he had expected financial support from him.

“The absence of Chairman Wontumi also affected my election because he was the one going to help with my finances,” he stated.
